WEEKLY WOD OVERVIEW FOR JUNE 17TH TO 23RD, 2024

This week’s workouts will surely satisfy your sweet tooth. Let’s get into it!

- Monday starts off with a strength piece building to three heavy singles power cleans. Then we’re going to have a “Fun Dip” of a time with pullups and rounds of “DT”. (“DT” has deadlifts, hang power cleans and push jerks)

- On Tuesday, it’s going to be a, you know the thing… “Whatchamacallit” oh yeah this is where we have double unders, air bike calories and box jump overs. But wait there’s more; post workout there is a mini pump for the arms with skull crushers and bicep curls.

- For Wednesday, we will build on our front squat strength then get into a lot of mini one minute AMRAP’s, kind of like there’s a lot of pieces of candy in a “Pez'' dispenser. Ours has bench press and toes to bar

- Then on Thursday isn’t as sweet but it is if you like a Quarterfinals workout. This Quarterfinals workout is 24.1 where there are snatches, rowing, and dumbbell box step ups.

- For Friday we get to build our shoulder balls with heavy-ish strict press. Then we get to perform a hero workout called “Red Wings”. This workout was written in honor of the 11 Navy Seals and 8 US Army Soldiers from the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment who lost their lives in Operation Red Wings in 2005. The goal of the mission was to disrupt Taliban activity in the area. Nineteen men lost their lives during the 3 week operation.

- Finally on Saturday don’t let your partner take your packet of “Pop Rocks” during this workout that has front rack walking lunges, dumbbell farmer carries and dumbbell front rack carries. Followed by a leg mini pump with back squats, DB Romanian deadlift, DB hamstring curls and DB calf raises.
