Hello everyone! How’s your body doing? We are now in Week 3 of the Open and are primed and ready to hit a fun little workout to finish things off. Based on the first two workouts we should expect to see some sort of pull-up variation in the final workout as well as possibly an escalating ladder or a specific allotted task requirement to keep extending time in the Open workout. So, let’s see what we got.Monday we got some bootay gainzzz with pausing front squats and front squats. Yup, you read that right. Then we go into “Player Piano” that has a certain number of rounds of some distance running, a couple of American KBS, and a few dubz. Wobbly leg type of day.Tuesday will be a day for our gymnasts out there! We get some time to practice fun movements on the bar and then go to the “Cat’s Cradle” which is a spicy little thing including thrusters and various pulling variations. It’s like we’re getting ready for 22.3 or something…..Wednesday we’ll cool off with some waves… oh wait, my bad… I meant heat up with some snatch waves. But don’t worry, this is a day to reinforce good technique. OMG, the “Sirens of Titan” are going off! Can you hear them? What’s that? Push ups? GHD Sit Ups? Oh no, burpee box jump overs! And… Oh my… it can’t be… The assault bike?!? We’re doooomed!.... See you then ;)Thursday, I’m reminding you now to bring some protection. No! Not like that you cochinos!. Shin protection. Because we have a long workout of rowing, turkish get ups (believe it or not, some of our athletes’ fave), rope climbs, and some casual walking on our hands. Easy peesy, lemon squeezy!Friday… 22.3… Insert evil laugh.Sábado, tampoco no se.
