Buenos dias! Hope you’re having another wonderful weekend. Before we get started, we’d like to remind you that this coming up Saturday is going to be a Community Bring A Friend Day, so bring your friends that have been wanting to give CrossFit a try. It’ll be tons of fun! If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of our coaches.
Now, for the real reason you’ve come to our page today…
Monday, we start the day off with some squat clean and jerks and then get ready to say “I am the pumpkin king” while getting through some dumbbell front squats and ring push ups.
Tuesday, we’re gonna jump around a bit to find a max set of double unders or cross overs then we’ll get to “Trick or Treat” with a few rounds of toes to (candy) bar(s), hang kettle(corn)bell snatches, and double (stuffed oreo) unders. Ba-dum-tsss….. Anywho. Happy Halloween everyone! Have fun and be safe!
Wednesday, we have “let’s turn on the juice and see what shakes loose”. The juice being the run and row and the shaking loose being the burpee variations… Ooooh, this one looks fun!
Thursday, we have the back squat for our strength piece and then “There’s only 365 days left until next Halloween” which requires a buddy to help you get through some deadlifts, pull ups, and calories on the bike.
Friday, we test our ability to press some heavy weight over our heads and then we go into “I ain’t ‘fraid of no ghosts” which surely means you’s ain’t ‘fraid of none them shuttle runs, box jumps, strict handstand push ups, and air squats. Emma right?
Saturday, “it’s just a bunch of hocus pocus” will be what you say to your workout buddy when you lose count for the third time while you get through some sandbag carries, dumbbell farmer carries, calories on the rower, and synchro lunge walks. Finishing the hour off with an optional finisher which I think some of you are familiar with; “Flight Simulator.” If you don’t know what this is, come in to find out!
(Or I guess you could google it.) Either way, just come in… cause it’s fun!
