Monday, we start the day off building our front squat strength followed by some box jumps after each set. Then we get into some NBA themed WODs for the week. Today’s workout involves an offensive play by the “Boston Celtics” of power cleans and shuttle runs.
Then Tuesday, brings us the “Indiana Pacers”. Don’t go out hot on this 4 set workout of rowing, kettlebell swinging and burpees over the rower. Followed by a mini leg pump.
Wednesday, our strength piece has us alternating between shoulder pressing and bent over single arm rows. Then get ready for the “Minnesota Timberwolves” in this game look out for the triplet WOD of calories on the bike, handstand pushups and box jumps. Totally a foul if you miss this one!
Thursday has us testing our strict pullups. Then the next team's players from the “Denver Nuggets” will complete in a short amount of time before the buzzer single arm overhead walking lunges and toes to bar. If you complete the work before the buzzer you get to go into overtime.
Friday we will see some work with hang squat snatches, then the “Dallas Mavericks” will get their jumps in with double unders and shooting practice with wallballs.
Saturday bring your partner to the “NBA Finals”. You will actually get to participate with the team through rowing, running and handstand walking. Followed by a mini pump of the arms and core.
