Alright guys, we’re in Week 6 of PRVN Open Build Cycle. This week will be the most challenging we’ve had over the last two cycles. The goal here is to challenge you, push you to new limits, and then let you recover going into the Open weeks / Quarterfinals weeks ahead. Okay, so let’s see what fun we have coming up!Monday! We’ll start off the week with some pretty heavy Front Squats. And if that doesn’t fry your legs, then we’ll let “Sgt. Doakes” do the deed. It’s simple: Pistols and Power Snatches. How many? I’ll just let y’all find out for yourselves.Tuesday will allow us to work on our Ring Muscle Up Skills and then let “The Brain Surgeon” operate on us after our brain stops working with all the Dubz, RMU’s, and Shoulder-to-Overhead reps. Oh, and did I mention it’s a 20min AMRAP with a twist at the end… if… you get to the end ;)Wednesday we get to test our 3RM Hang Clean and then the “Bay Harbour Butcher” will have us feeling like cold dead meat after we attempt to sprint through some Calories on the Bike, Burpee Box Jump Overs, Deficit Push-Ups, Dual DB Step-Overs, GHD Sit-Ups, aannnddd Lateral Burpees over DB’s. Okay, I’m already sweating! (nervous laugh)Thursday will serve as somewhat of a recovery day. “Dex” is an interesting workout that has only running and rowing. So bring your running shoes and your earbuds and come sweat with the people you love!Friday… Phew, okay… Before I say what it is, promise me you’ll come, deal?... 18.4… If you don’t know what it is, it’s an Open WOD that has Deadlifts and HSPU’s, then heavier Deadlifts and HS Walks! You promised you’d come so you can’t back out now!Saturday will feel like “Doomsday” when you're done with this workout. You and your partner will alternate between rounds. Rounds will include Calories on the Bike, C2B’s, SA OH Carries, and Rope Climbs.
