Hello you party animals! We really enjoyed our time with everyone last night, thank you to all who joined and to those that couldn’t make it, there’s always next year!
Monday, we’ll start the week off with some snatch push presses and overhead squats as our strength piece and then go into “Vegemite” which is a nice 5 round workout of toes to bar, burpee box jump overs, and more toes to bar. There’s also a little bit of rest sprinkled somewhere in there.
Tuesday, our strength piece will be a complex that includes a power clean, below the knee power clean, and hang power clean. The goal is to get heavy! Then we have “Kanga Bangas” which is another 5 round workout with dumbbell deadlifts, dumbbell hang cleans, dumbbell shoulder to overhead and calories on our best friend, Mr. Bike.
Wednesday, “Pavlova” is the name of the workout. A simple (not easy) 20-min AMRAP of calories on the rower and single unders. Then we’ll have some time to work on our pull ups.
Thursday, we have “Fairy Bread” which is 3 rounds of back squats, walking lunges, and box jumps. Wow, poor legs! But it’s okay because afterwards they’ll get a break during the upper body mini pump.
Friday, our strength piece consists of the deadlift and then we have “Moreton Bay Bug” which is a team of two workout that has wall walks and power cleans. Make sure you buddy up with someone that loooooves wall walks so you don’t have to do any (hehe).
Saturday, we have “Tim Tim” which has a bit of running, a few strict pull ups, some push ups, and maybe some air squats. Some might call this a Cindy remix!
