Two Open workouts down and 25.3 to go–This Thursday we will find out the details of 25.3! The final Open workout will be going down Saturday morning with a potluck afterwards. Can’t wait to see all of you! This week of Fitness is about to begin!
• Monday’s workout begins with a 16 minute clock. For the first 10 minutes we will be biking for calories in a 1 minute of work and 1 minute of rest EMOM style. Then in the last 6 minutes of time, build to a heavy 3 rep shoulder to overhead from the rack.
• On Tuesday we have a 12 minute AMRAP of chest to bar pull-ups, dubz and front squats at a moderate weight.
• Wednesday will challenge our upper-body stamina with Russian kettlebell swings and handstand push-ups in a 3 rounds for time style workout. Afterwards we will get in some Turkish get up practice.
• Thursday, grab your partner for a couplet of toes to bar and running. Then, stick around after for some handstand walk practice.
• Friday since we are doing the last Open workout 25.3 on Saturday the plan is to spend some time working on “Goat” movements. “Goat” is CrossFit slang for a movement that challenges us. Examples: Double-Unders, Pull-ups, Overhead Squats, Handstand Push-ups.
