WEEKLY WOD OVERVIEW FOR JULY 22ND TO 28TH, 2024

Alrighty guys here’s the weekly WOD overview for the up and coming week! Let’s get into it.

- Monday we have a Benchmark/Tribute WOD called “The Chief” where we will complete 3 power cleans, 6 push-ups and 9 air squats in a 3 minute AMRAP for 5 rounds. Oh yeah there is a one minute rest before starting again.

- Tuesday starts off with a little skill work practicing double unders. Then get ready for a chipper style workout consisting of rowing, box jump overs and running.

- Wednesday we get to build up to a heavy 1 rep for the day overhead squat. There’s one caveat, we will be doing it from the ground ;) Afterwards, we hit a 3 round workout of chest to bar pull ups and overhead squats.

- Thursday is all about a heavy day where we will be working on our pressing strength! To start it off with five sets of 3 strict presses, then five sets of 2 push press and finally five sets of 1 push jerk.

- Friday we get into a 10 minute EMOM of 1 hang power clean. Then a quick 10 minute couplet of heavy power cleans and toes to bar.

- Saturday we will be having a gymnastics seminar. In this seminar we will be covering all things upside down and how to effectively scale for your capabilities. Afterwards we will have a workout oriented with handstand pushups.
