Reminder: Regular class schedule Monday-Wednesday, Thursday-Saturday only one class at 8:30am. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving week! We will start our holiday week off with a two-part workout. Our strength piece will be back squats for 3 sets of 5. Then we will hit up “Taco Bell,” which is a short triplet workout with double unders, air squats and kettlebell swings. Tuesday we will see two barbell movements paired with two “cardio” movements with “Snack Bar.” You’ll see running, power cleans, rowing and push jerks for 3 rounds. Wednesdays focus is cycling power snatches with a two-part workout. We will start by working some technique with a 3-position power snatch, then roll into “Power Wheels.” This is three AMRAPs of calories on the assault bike and power snatches, each round the barbell gets heavier and rep scheme gets smaller. You’ll get 3 minutes of rest in between each round. Thursday is Thanksgiving and we will take on “MURPH” please feel free to scale accordingly by doing “Half Murph,” or making it a partner workout. Fridays focus is the deadlift. We’ll use a tempo in the strength portion to really drive home positioning. Then “Steam Roller,” gets us hitting the assault bike, situps and deadlift for an 18-25 min workout. Saturday we are working in teams of 3 to get after “Iron Lotus.” This workout has a 30 min time cap filled with alllllll the movements; team wreckbag run, rowing, box jump overs, overhead squats and hang power snatches.
