We are starting this week off with a focus on barbell cycling; making transitions smooth and making the bar feel light even when it’s not. We will build to a heavy snatch complex of 1 hang power snatch, 2 power snatches and 3 over head squats then we will be serving up “Bartender,” which is a repeat workout from 6.19.19. Trying to get as many reps and rounds of deadlifts, overhead squats and hang power snatches with the same barbell. Tuesday we will jump in the waters with “Surfer on Acid,” which is another repeat from 4.20.18. This is a fast-paced, bodyweight workout of 3 rounds of running and burpees. Then we will finish off with some single arm strength of dumbbell strict press. “Workaholic,” is our work for Wednesday, with a two-part workout with no rest in between. Starting with 3 rounds of calories on the rower and chest to bar pullups, flowing straight into 3 rounds of kettlebell swings and thrusters. Come in on Thursday for a little “Double Dare,” this interval style workout happens on the 4 mins for 5 rounds. We are looking to get calories on the bike, double unders and deadlifts, which we build in weight throughout the 5 rounds. “Gut Feeling,” sneaks in on Friday which is a AMRAP of hang power cleans, lateral barbell burpees, push jerks and toes to bar.
