Happy Sunday! Who’s ready to see what workouts we are going to smash this week?
Monday starts heavy with “Fish out of Water,” which gets us on the rower for a 2k row then rolls directing into 10 rounds of power cleans, push ups and air squats known as “Heavy Chief.” We will finish with dumbbell box step overs and dumbbell bench presses. Tuesday we are picking up the bar off the floor a lot, we have a deadlift focused day again with our strength piece being a heavy set of 3. Then we will cruise into “Sugar Daddy.” This 21-15-9 of deadlifts and running will have you feeling some type of way. We will hit some “Body Armor,” work with the time left. Wednesdays WOD we are leaving the barbells alone and focusing on “Leg Work.” Box jump overs, dumbbell front squats and calories on the bike every 4:00 X 5. Thursday which we will only have one 8:30 am class is going to be a long hard workout, we will be performing “Glen” which is a HERO WOD that should take about 40 min to complete. With clean and jerks, rope climbs, burpees and a 2 mile run we are honored and humbled to be able to perform this workout on July 4th. Free Friday will be on Friday the 5th with “Encore” which is a team of 2 AMRAP 25 with rowing, synchro air squats and wreck bag cleans. “Nail Biter,” rolls in on Saturday. With one minute to get as many reps as possible, you will go through toes to bar, power snatches, thrusters and cals on the bike for 4 rounds with a built in 2 minute rest in between each round. Ouch.

“I’m not complaining, I’m just stating a fact.” This is the most common retort we hear when we talk about positivity.
You’re not wrong, it is a fact. But breathing life into it by giving it a voice brings greater awareness to something negative that you have no control over. That’s bitching. That’s complaining. And it’s poison.
“It’s so hot out here.” Yes, it is. Pointing that out isn’t going to make it any cooler. It’s just going to make you and everyone around you more miserable.
Don’t be the poison. Be the antidote.
