Wow, what a great Saturday morning we had! Thank you all for coming and joining in on such a great and humbling workout. Every year we have more people join in an its such an amazing morning watching you all grind out with sweat, hard work and sometimes blood for MURPH.
We will be closed all day on Monday for Memorial Day, thank you to those who have served and risked their lives to protect ours. We are forever grateful for your service.
Tuesday we will pick up with “Jelly Belly,” which is a high volume descending rep workout with abmat situps, calories on the assault bike and heavy deadlifts. Wednesdays workout goes a little like this… Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down And I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there I’ll tell you how I became the prince of a town called “Bel-Air”… with a two part jerk focused workout we will start with building to a set of 3 Push Jerk then roll into “Bel-Air” which is an AMRAP 15 with double unders, dumbbell hang clean and jerks and calories on the rower. Thursday we are leaving the barbells alone and just moving our body weight with “YOGI” This 12-15min workout has walking lunges, bear crawls and box step ups. Going from Thursdays smooth workout into Fridays two part workout today is going to turn up the intensity with some weighted strict pullups for a strength piece then jumping into “DEATH RACE,” with is 5 rounds of calories on the assault bike and burpees. Which literally sounds like death in general. Our group class on Saturday will get after “Adderall,” and wow, bring those running shoes an lifting shoes, we got a spicy combo. We have 27 minutes that are sectioned by time frames that decrease along with the running distances and the weight on the barbell for clean and jerks. With built in rest, we are looking to test our capacity. Lets have another great week!

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” – Vivian Greene
It is very common for us to await the “right time”.
The right time to start.
The right time to change jobs.
The right time to have that uncomfortable conversation.
We’ve all been here. Awaiting the perfect moment. We hesitate, because we think we’ll fail. It’s here we want to take a specific perspective: Instead of seeing all of the reasons why this could go wrong, we instead need to focus on the reasons why it could go *right*. To learn how to dance in the rain.
