For this week’s overview of February 4th through 9th, we start Monday off building to a Heavy Single Front Squat then a workout that should tickle your “Funny Bone” that has Kettlebell Swings, Box Jump Overs and Front Squats. Then on Tuesday we will see a “Dubble Bubble” of a session with this 16 minute AMRAP of Double Unders, Power Snatches and Bar Muscle Ups. Wednesday’s “Sole Cycle” is another three 5 minute AMRAP of Barbell Facing Burpees, Power Cleans and Assault Bike. Then turning to Thursday look forward to “Crop Top”; think of Wallballs, Farmers Carry and Strict Handstand Push-ups. For Friday, this “Twenty-Something” of an AMRAP workout will have Overhead Squats, Box Jumps, Toes to Bar and Calorie Row. Finally, on Saturday we will be out supporting the Cupid”s Chase 5K run in Mesilla. Be sure sign up on our team. Last year we were the top donators for this event, we would love to do it again. This event is a family fun event where you can walk or run it. Bring your kids, your DDCF T-shirt and let’s support our local community, all the money raised here stays in Dona Ana county.
From CompTrain Mindset:
“In 20 years from now, you’ll be more disappointed in the things you didn’t do.” – Mark Twain
Starting, can be the single largest challenge in life.
It’s the human condition – we don’t like change. We prefer the status quo, because we know what to expect. It’s familiar and comfortable. It’s safe.
Yet playing it safe, is ironically the most dangerous thing we can do.
In 20 years from now, we won’t look back with regrets on the things we tried. If there’s regret, it will be on what we didn’t.
