This week’s workouts starts off on Monday with a great way to continue our Double under practice with “Triple Double” a three set as many rounds as possible in 5 minutes with Double Unders as a buy in to Power Snatches and Burpee Box Jump Overs. Tuesday’s workout “Stick Up” has Heavier Thrusters, Chest to Bar Pullups and Assault Bike. A great push/pull triplet that may only rob you of your breath. Then there’s a “Wrecking Crew” waiting for us on Wednesday. We are looking to bring the intensity in this teams of 2 “You go, I go” style workout while running with a heavy odd object, running unloaded and rowing for calories. Then on Thursday look forward to building to a heavy double power clean from the floor with a two second pause at knee level. Then we have “20 For 7”, a little twist on the “death by” do 1 Power Clean 1 minute then 2 Power Cleans on the second minute and so on… each set has 20 Double Unders preceding the Power Cleans for this AMRAP 7 workout. Friday’s “Cover Girl” is the full package that starts off with a longer buy in of Running and Overhead Squats and then max rounds of “Cindy” 5 Pullups, 10 Pushups, 15 Air Squats. Finishing the week off with an “Iron Fist” this Saturday is a three person team workout. Athletes will tackle the bike and three barbell movements of Deadlifts, Hang Power Cleans, Push Jerks. One athlete works at a time, switching out however teams see fit. All in all, a great week of fitness to be had 😎
