CrossFit prepares you for the unknown and unknowable. It prepares you to out run a lifter and outlift a runner. It prepares you to learn and adapt to new things on a daily basis.
So this is what CrossFit is about y’all!
August 3rd all these guys went and did a triathlon; Jeff, Amy, Rachel, Allie and Kelsey. None of them had done one before and everyone had to do something they were not really good at, but they all went in to this event with a sense of adventure and came out on top. They had confidence in their fitness level and ability to adapt and prevail no matter what that they could not just get through but do well in a situation like this.
They swam 400 M Biked a 10K and ran a 5K. Everyone had a great time, learned lots and did very well. Natalie got 2nd in her age group and Jeff got 3rd. Growth only comes outside of that comfort zone guys!
Keep striving for the betterment of you. Each day do something better than yesterday. Do something that pushes the comfort zone out just a bit farther. Whether it is in the gym, at home, at work or just within your own mindset find that one thing you can do just a little better! Constant progress not perfection!
Each day, each hour, each minute of each day is a chance to be a better version of the you you are now!
