What is CrossFit?

CrossFit was originally developed by Coach Greg Glassman with the goal of improving an individuals’ fitness level so they can be ready for whatever physical challenges may arise. This is achieved by using constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity with the goal to develop fitness that prepares one optimally for any task imaginable. These movements include pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, and running. In any given workout you will be using kettlebells, barbells, medicine balls, jump rope, or pull-up bars in your workout. The program is designed to improve your overall fitness by focusing on 10 fitness areas listed on this page.

You will find each CrossFit workout challenging but each workout is scalable to your fitness level. CrossFit classes are group classes lead by a Certified CrossFit Coach. Our CrossFit program is designed to help those just starting their journey as well as seasoned athletes achieve their fitness goals.
