Meal Prep Monday!
Hope all you Mothers had a great Mother’s Day! I did AND I got our meal prep done! Yay for me 🙂
Another week ready for success. So mushrooms were on sale, so I bought a pack of portabellas and already had some ground turkey.
I browned up that turkey with the stems of the mushrooms, onion, bell pepper and celery, placed them on a baking sheet, measured out 3 oz of meat and put some shredded parmesan cheese on top and baked them beauties for about 30 min. Yummo.
Over the last few weeks I have figured out what works best for me as far as how I feel during my workouts. So another way I have set myself up for success and feeling the best during is I have altered my meal portions appropriately and added a bit more carbs to my preworkout meal, and labeled them for easy pickin’s.
One of the great debates regarding carbs is constant, whether we should be eating sweet potatoes or white potatoes. Well the simple answer is YES to both. Check out the attached link. It has some nice information pointing out nutritional information of both. Each one slightly different so we want to incorporate some of each so we can reap the benefits of each! YAY POTATOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
