It’s Meal prep Monday!
How are y’all doing? How are you feeling about your nutrition? Are you feeling sleepy or are you feeling fueled? Are are still struggling with energy? Are you sleeping well? Are you feeling strong or are you having a hard time just getting through the door?
How is what you are currently doing working for you?
If you aren’t happy with the answers to those questions above then you may need to rethink your current habits. Are you consistent with your workouts but just aren’t seeing much change?
Maybe it’s time to focus on the tough stuff.
Get your diet/fuel focused, make sure you are eating enough! Make sure you are eating enough of the right things. If you are struggling let us know and we can get you going in the right direction……
OK, so this week’s meal prep for me was not really creative and not a whole lot of variety. It was quite simple. I had 3 packages of chicken thighs, just seasoned each one differently; chile lime, salt pepper mushroom and aminos, and a teriyaki. Made chile (no beans) with ground beef, and a pineapple amino pork loin roast. Kept the veggies simple as well, zucchini. Made two batches and seasoned one with dill, marjoram, coriander, salt and garlic. The other just usual salt, pepper, garlic with yellow onion.
Also tried something new, Farro, the traditional grain of the Mediterranean. It is hearty, would be a great addition to just about any meal. Your serving will be about the same as rice though; the carb count is a bit higher, but overall could be a better choice since it also has a great fiber content per serving. Always plus! Give it a try 🙂
